With a focus on networking and professional development, it also advocates for industry interests and promotes STEM careers.Coupled with their extensive network of global partners, they are currently looking for anEvent Sales Executivebased in the Klang Valleywith strong portfolio and event projects management experience to drive the region's business to the next level.
Job Description
Among the many responsibilities, some are as follows:
Sales Growth and Strategy : Consistently meet sales targets through proactive outreach, tailored strategies, and managing the complete sales cycle.
Client and Market Engagement : Build strong client relationships, network at events, and stay informed on industry trends and competitors.
Collaboration and Support : Work with marketing, operations, and project teams to enhance event quality and support team goals.
Performance Monitoring : Provide sales reports, forecasts, and updates while tracking progress toward revenue targets.
Event Representation and Research : Represent the company at events to promote offerings and identify opportunities, while researching industry prospects for business growth.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will be confident in growing the business and steering the company to the most profitable position, while having the drive to establish new businesses across the massive APAC region. It's critical you have an all-rounded experience and must possess the requirements below:
Bachelor's degree & above with at least 3 years of B2B Event or Exhibition Sales, preferably within the Industrial sector.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets with strong experience in exhibition or sponsorship sales; knowledge of the Industrial sector is a plus.
Strong communicator and presenter who is proficient in English, with a solid grasp of Bahasa Malaysia, and preferably Mandarin.
Resourceful and persistent, skilled in navigating customer structures, identifying key decision-makers, and mapping potential opportunities.
Credible and commercially savvy, adept at blending technical knowledge with consultative selling expertise.
Possesses excellent interpersonal and diplomatic skills for collaborating with diverse colleagues and customers, building strong relationships.
