Job Summary: As a Events & Convention Services Executive, you are responsible for managing function space to maximize revenue, coordinating event details with clients, and ensuring effective communication across departments. This role includes securing food and beverage guarantees, handling billing procedures, and utilizing booking systems to support seamless event operations.
Due to visa limitations, only locals will be considered. Responsibilities: Efficiently manage function space to maximize revenue and profitability.Respond promptly to inquiries about accommodation, conference, and catering space.Gather and confirm event details from clients, ensuring effective communication across departments.Conduct site inspections for clients as needed.Prepare and manage event-related documentation, including event orders and rooming lists.Secure food and beverage guarantee and monitor attendance for cost control.Initiate billing procedures and ensure timely receipt of deposits and credit applications.Utilize Delphi and Opera systems for booking management and reporting.Confirm event details with clients before transferring responsibilities to operations.Ensure contract terms are fulfilled to maximize guest satisfaction and profitability.Generate new business through creative marketing strategies and report on lost business and productivity.Requirement: Diploma in Hospitality Management or relatedAt least 1 year of related work experienceExcellent communication skillsHigh level of IT skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and WordExcellent organisational and administration skills
