As part of the CRRC Group's continuous commitment endeavour to Malaysia's railway industry, CRRC Rolling Stock Center (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is a sprawling 42-acre manufacturing base located in Batu Gajah, Perak Darul Ridzuan, providing a wide range of solutions such as production, welding, assembly, testing, overhaul and refurbishment of railway systems including locomotives, MRT, EMU, LRT and other forms of railway transport equipment.
The first phase of the project, completed on February 2015 with the capacity to produce 100 to150 carriages and overhaul about 150 carriages annually.
