Develop and conduct the business growth for medium to long term aspiration and strategic direction by reviewing and assessing the development of the refining & petrochemical industry and markets, competitors' movements and strategies and the viability of business growth opportunities in order to maximize shareholders' value creation.
Key Accountabilities
Economic Assessments
Perform economic assessments for stakeholders and refine assumptions into the base case of the economic model and develop a base case economic model during the operational phase.
Formulation of long term price forecast
Execute and conduct the formulation of long term price forecast by conducting rigorous analysis on market fundamentals, changes to the regional economies, seasonality effect on the prices, historical trending and other relevant inputs supplemented with market assessment published by organizations such as PLATTS, ICIS, ARGUS on product price movement, daily/weekly market news and direction to achieve accurate projection of prices to ensure maximum profit margin for the company.
Facilitate results validation
Execute and conduct verification of completeness of costs and contingencies, valuation with key metrics – NPV and IRR, validating key assumptions and consequently identifying discrepancies/errors to facilitate results validation.
Perform sensitivity analysis
Verifying new assumptions by performing sensitivity analysis and reviewing key variables that have the highest impact on project returns.
Strategic Initiatives
Coordinate and perform PRefChem's cash flow projections which have a strategic impact as a member of the working group by providing valuable market insights, assessment of business risks and opportunities, ensuring seamless integration and synergistic execution amongst stakeholders thus contributing to PRefChem's ongoing competitiveness, long term sustenance and growth opportunities.

Qualification & Experience
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in any field from a recognized institution.
At least 5 years of working experience, 3 years of which was spent in the downstream business sector.
Experience in joint ventures with industry giants (e.g., PETRONAS and Saudi Aramco).
