JOB DESCRIPTION

Maintaining accuracy and integrity of investment and cash transactions.
Ensure alignment of internal records with custodians, perform reconciliations, and collaborate with the custodians and system vendors to resolve any issues.
Participate in process improvement initiatives and cross-section collaboration to ensure accurate and timely reporting of investment data.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Transaction ManagementMaintain investment and cash transactions accurately in internal systems, ensuring alignment with custodian records. Transactions covering various instruments, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and money market.
Ensure daily investment transaction data interfaced from custodians into internal systems are updated accurately and timely.
Ensure all corporate action events are captured and validated.
Ensure fund transfer instructions are executed accurately and on time to the relevant custodians.
ReconciliationPerform daily reconciliation of investment transactions, positions, and cash balances between internal records and custodians.
Promptly identify and resolve discrepancies in position and cash reconciliations.
Collaboration and Issue ResolutionCollaborate with custodians and system vendors to investigate and resolve any exceptions or issues promptly.
Collaborate with other sections within the department to ensure accurate and timely reporting of investment data.
Process ImprovementPerform data interface tests for new products, securities, and accounts to ensure accuracy and order.
Actively participate in initiatives focused on process improvement and automation.
Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices in investment operations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Malaysian citizen.
Pass the Malay Language including an oral test at the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or equivalent as recognised by the Government.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related qualifications which are recognised by the Government from any local or abroad higher learning institution including membership in the professional accounting bodies.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Good analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent attention-to-detail, and able to work independently.
Proactive, resilient, adaptable to new technologies, and able to deliver under pressure.
A team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
