Job Purpose:Design and maintain core system servers and related infrastructure in our hospital to ensure smooth operations. Support includes servers, storage, networking, backup, and troubleshooting for hospital staff, consultants, and patients. Define and manage the Disaster Recovery Strategy and cybersecurity measures in collaboration with the SMC Velocity group.
Qualification & Requirements:
Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent from a recognized university.
Candidate with experience in infrastructure support, security, and strong exposure to operations is preferred.
Strong knowledge of data center operations, networking, and server management.
Experience with Disaster Recovery planning.
Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage Data Centre infrastructure services such as Active Directory, DNS, IPAM, Routing, VM Servers, Backup, ensuring the optimal functioning of hardware, software, implementing file backups, network systems and configuring systems & applications for the servers.
Plan ICT Data Centre infrastructure management systems strategy and architecture over the long term including the Disaster Recovery.
Participate in the deployment of IT projects, assisting and working as a part of the team to meet the project targets and quality objectives.
Incoming e-Support tickets from end users to resolve both hardware and software issues within servers, databases, networks, PCs, Printers and other mission-critical systems.
Liaise with end users on new requirements/enhancements for existing systems/IT equipment through the change management process.
Innovate, initiate and suggest new ICT Data Centre infrastructure management systems technology or service concepts as part of continual service improvement.
Deal with enquiries from External Audit, Internal Audit and other officers regarding Data Centre system policy and operation.
Assist team members to prepare, maintain and update requirements, specifications and business process documentation.
Based on the support provided to users, provide recommendations on how to enhance performance of hardware/software across the organization.
Act as the go-to within the department for anyone with questions or queries regarding overall IT areas.
Risk assessment and analysis to identify potential risks and threats to the business operation, i.e., natural disaster, cyberattacks, equipment failures, and human error.
Manage PC setup and deployment for new employees using the standard software/hardware based on the position and requirement for operations.#J-18808-Ljbffr
