ResponsibilitiesPrepare the pre-opening process for applications of share margin financing i.e. evaluation of collateral, assessment on client, credit risk rating, financial screening and preparing proposal for approval.
Prepare securities/legal documents, ensure completeness of execution i.e. signing, aqad, stamping and registration of documents at high court.
Prepare the processing for opening, updating and closing of Margin Account.
Daily monitoring on margin position i.e. margins calls, exceeded facility, facility tenure, confirmation of Sales Advice, force-selling, extension of availability period (roll over), non shariah counter, non-marginable counter, suspended counter, single counter exposure, single client concentration etc.
Monitor and identify the expiring Murabahah contract and obtain required approval for extension of the contract, prepare new Murabahah aqad, debit service fees and send debit note to client.
Checking and maintaining trading limit (BTX and ECOS), transfer in collateral and withdrawal of collateral.
Conduct daily task i.e. set off, redemption, change of remisier, uplift and suspend client's account/counter/remisier.
Monitoring and ensuring profit margin calculation, ta'widh, service fees, processing fees, price capping, special ratio are charged accurately.
Credit ControlPrepare the process for account opening and closing for Institutional and Retail clients. Update clients' status, records, and credit limit.
Daily Review and monitor daily and monthly T-Day amendment for submission to Compliance.
Daily Monitoring operations task i.e. verify brokerage rate requests by DRs, Top Up/withdrawal of trust, suspension of client's trading limit, uplift suspension, DBT, Marri-ed Deal transaction, update suspension to sell for non-Shariah Counters.
Managing possible contra request, set off against client/DRs deposit, debt recovery and monitor T+3 position.
Processing reduce/increase client's trading limit request, verify error account, T Day amendment, managing cheques return, e statement, epayment, ECOS, change of remisier request.
Assist the legal person in completing the legal documents and secure the execution.
OthersResponsible to ensure compliance with IT Security Policy and supporting IT Security Standards. (ITSS requirement);
Prepare ad-hoc or periodic reports for the department to be tabled at the management, SAC, Audit, Board meetings or other relevant committees where appropriate.
Perform other job responsibilities or tasks assigned by HOD from time to time.
Experience/Knowledge RequiredPossess Degree in Finance/Accounts/Banking/Legal or Other relevant qualifications
