The Social Media Executive is responsible for all social media channels (MY/SG specific) and campaigns of the business, supporting the Social Media Strategist. He/She will manage all content and campaigns to sustain engaging audience experiences and increase audience satisfaction. The Social Media Executive is required to analyze data together with the marketing and multichannel team to propose initiatives based on social media trends to improve social media presence and campaign efficacy.
It is essential for the Social Media Executive to have strategic thinking and excellent communication skills. You are required to strategize and execute social media activities and content planning to establish and maintain brand presence in the market. It is crucial that you remain consistent with the marketing plan and brand roadmap while constantly analyzing results and insights.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all company social media accounts management (MY/SG)
Develop engaging, creative, innovative content for regularly scheduled posts that enlighten audiences and promote brand-focused messages
Coordinate social media messaging with marketing and multichannel department
Oversee all social media briefs and works
Analyze social media presences, including digital advertising costs and returns
Analyze social media campaigns together with the multichannel team to gather visitor data and determine efficacy and areas for improvement
Work with other departments to develop social media timelines coinciding with new product releases, ad campaigns, or other brand messages
Monitor and develop reports on competitor activity within social media spaces
Requirements:
Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience working as a Social Media Strategist or similar role
Bonus with a creative background and strong passion for social media
Excellent knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, and other social media best practices with hands-on experience
Able to work independently but also a team player to work in a multidisciplinary team
Good understanding of all social media KPIs
Excellent time management skills in this fast-paced retail industry
