About the Job We are looking for a dedicated and qualified Finance Manager to join our client's team at a manufacturing plant in Klang, Selangor.
As a Finance Manager, you will oversee the whole team of accounting and finance operations and performance.
Job Responsibilities Document Review and Approval : Oversee and approve claims, change requests, journal entries, payment requests, and adjustments/write-off requests, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Inventory Management : Strategically plan and conduct periodic inventory counts, ensuring variance reports are accurate and timely.
Cash Flow Monitoring : Monitor the company's cash flow to ensure it meets target levels, proposing optimal funding solutions when necessary.
Financial Reporting : Ensure the timely and precise submission of all financial reports.
Report Review : Regularly review monthly aging reports, reconciliation reports, and audit schedules, resolving long-standing overdue items.
Financial Analysis : Conduct in-depth analysis and draft insightful financial commentary on schedules and reports.
Budget and Business Plan Preparation : Prepare and review annual budgets and business plans for revenue, ensuring alignment with the company's financial goals.
Audit Participation : Actively participate in internal and external audit exercises, providing necessary information to support the audit process.
Team Supervision : Provide strong supervision and guidance to team members, ensuring smooth operations and supporting team development and performance.
Qualifications & Experiences Needed Possession of a recognized professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
Membership with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant working experience in the finance or accounting field in the manufacturing industry.
Highly self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative, capable of meeting tight deadlines.
Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and high integrity.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and as a committed team player.
Proficient in spreadsheet software and experienced with ERP computer systems.
Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.
