Finance Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:A. Financial ReportingMaintain financial records in accounting system timely.
Prepare monthly management accounts and schedules, i.e., supporting schedules, intercompany accounts, and miscellaneous accruals etc.
Prepare bank and balance sheet reconciliation, investigate, and address any discrepancies.
Prepare monthly prepayment schedule and amortization entries.
Preparation of journal voucher for approval.
Monitor receivable and payable deposits.
Maintain fixed assets register listing and ensure depreciation is calculated and captured correctly.B. Compliance
Manage statutory audits, including preparation of financial statements and coordination with external auditors.
Handle the company's tax matters.
Review the adequacy of tax provision and tax installment.
Monitor tax instalment, CP 204 are being paid on time.C. Banking & Treasury
Liaise with banker on banking administrative matters.
Update and prepare cash position summary on a weekly basis. Analyze significant cash movement.
Assist in forecast of sufficient funds in meeting its immediate month or two.REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or a Professional Qualification (MIA/ ACCA/ CPA/ ICAEW/ MICPA).
Proven experience in financial analysis, GL accounting, or a related role.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
Familiar with accounting standards (MFRS/IFRS etc.).
Good organization, analytical skills and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
