They just get listed and looking to bring on board an excellent Financial Accountant to support their business in Bangsar South.Job DescriptionManage monthly, quarterly and annual closing and internal reporting which includes the preparation of P&L and BS commentary, management reporting pack, etc.Manage project accounting and reportingReview and approve journalsPrepare and review SOX control workpapers for controls in scopePrepare quarterly tax calculations and support annual reviewPrepare and assist with tax compliancePrepare statutory accountsAssist with budget, annual audit, SOX and tax testingSupport projects and initiatives benefitting the operationsAssist with any other local administration tasks as requiredAny other ad-hoc requests as requiredRequirement to succeedDegree in Finance or Accounting and currently hold a professional accounting qualificationPrior MNC experience is essential (experience working for Australian and/or US listed company is desirable).Background in audit or previous employment in one of the Big Four is an advantageIdeally have prior experience on SOX, SAP and HFMAustralian tax knowledge is favourableExcellent written and verbal communication (English fluency is a must)To ApplyIf you are interested in this role, click 'apply now' to submit your resume (in MS Word format).
