Job Description for Financial Reporting Supervisor: • Assist in the monthly end closing activities and timely completion of book closing activities.
• Responsible for completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of operations in the general ledger, fixed asset, and intercompany accounts, as well as treasury transactions and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare the monthly analysis of financial results for review purposes.
• Reconcile and analyze various trial balance accounts including, but not limited to, cash accounts, prepaid expenses, other assets, intercompany accounts, and miscellaneous accruals.
• Prepare the Balance Sheet & Income statement schedules in a timely manner for review & audit purposes.
• Perform the monthly Balance Sheet reconciliation in a timely manner and coordinate to resolve the aging items.
• Assist in managing the cash flow position and prepare the relevant forecast in a timely manner.
• Ensure all local regulatory reporting and filing obligations are met including liaising with auditors, banks, and other government agencies.
• Assist in local tax compliances including SST, withholding tax, and corporate income tax submission in a timely manner.
• Perform ad hoc tasks assigned from time to time.
Requirements for Financial Reporting Supervisor: • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Accounting, Professional course graduate (ACCA, etc)
• Have direct experience in financial statements preparation & reviewing.
• At least 4-5 years of financial/audit experience (prior experience in the logistics industry or audit firm will have an added advantage).
• Proficiency in Mandarin and English (both oral and written) will have additional advantage.
• Self-motivated, detail oriented and analytical mindset with stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work under high pressure and tight deadline.
• Good interpersonal skills and supportive individual.
