Job Description
You will run and supervise various fitness and health programs.
You will assess the physical and health conditions of clients, create appropriate exercise plans, and monitor their improvement. You will also explain applicable safety rules and regulations (e.g. use of equipment).
You are often the representative of the company that will have the most interaction with the members; hence, you need to look neat and clean and should have stamina.
You are expected to demonstrate a personal commitment to fitness and personal wellness.
You will be expected to undertake those duties as required for the successful completion of your job.
Skills
Communication Skills:Fitness leaders must effectively communicate with clients to understand their goals, motivate them, and ensure they understand and execute exercises correctly. Proper communication with their PT team to guide, monitor, and educate them on how to perform and execute the job as personal trainers.
Leadership Skills:Inspiring personal trainers to achieve their monthly goals requires strong leadership and motivational skills.
Proficiency in designing exercise programs tailored to individual needs and goals.
Ability to demonstrate and teach proper exercise techniques with a strong emphasis on safety.
Understanding of nutrition principles to support fitness goals.
Knowledge of injury prevention and basic first aid.
Requirements:
Local Malaysian.
Minimum 3 years of practical experience working with clients or leading fitness classes is crucial.
While a formal degree is not required, a background in exercise science, kinesiology, sports science, or a related field can be beneficial. Understanding anatomy, physiology, nutrition, and exercise programming is essential.
