Fleet Manager

Job Responsibilities: Purchasing vehicles to expand and/or enhance the fleet.Scheduling regular maintenance on all vehicles and make urgent order or emergency repairs as needed.Establishing efficient routes and transportation schedules by coordinating with drivers and maintenance professionals when setting employee schedules.Managing vehicle licensure and registration while ensure all fleet members have proper licensure and up-to-date training.Providing reports to management on budgeting, schedules, maintenance and fleet progress.Discuss and coordinate with management for the disposal of obsolete or non-functional equipment in a cost-effective and environmentally responsible manner.Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory, maintenance schedules and equipment movement.Prepare regular reports on fleet performance and budget status.Ensure proper documentation for compliance audits and inspections.Developing methods to decrease cost and improve efficiency.Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures. Requirements: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in fleet management, preferably in agriculture or livestock operations environment.Understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards related to employees. Excellent organizational and project management skills.Require to travel within Sabah as and when needed.
