Responsibilities:Lead the Front Office team by example, displaying the highest professionalism in handling various situations.
Always meet up with guests and seek feedback.
Rectify any issues at the soonest possible to minimize inconvenience to the guests.
Establish and update Standard Operating Procedures for the department.
Ensure its implementation is effective.
Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Front Office Department and all related guest services, achieving maximum sales and guest satisfaction, and adhering to the standards of service required by the Hotel.
Be technically savvy in hotel systems, including PMS, POS, PABX, Broadband, etc.
Supervise that all Front Desk services are carried out with the utmost efficiency and standard Hotel policies and procedures (Check-in & out, handle inquiries, guest requests, boat services, transportation, telephone, reservation, cashiering, etc.).
Handle guest comments or complaints.
Ensure payments are promptly followed up and closed on the day of group departure.
Make regular room inspections and liaise with the Housekeeping Department on deviations from standard setups or special request setups.
Maximize revenue on room sales and upsell for walk-in and potential guests.
Ensure guest stay details, rates, and guest ledger are accurate to facilitate balancing on Closing Day.
Prepare daily/monthly reports as required.
Attend meetings/morning briefings.
Requirements:More than 5 years of relevant work experience required for this role.
Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Committed to delivering high levels of customer service.
Ability to work under pressure.
Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations.
Strong organizational, budget management, and problem-solving skills.
