Responsibilities:Responsible for all communication in-going and out-going.
Handle in-house paging system.
Courteously receive and properly route incoming calls.
Ensure proper functioning of telephone equipment at all times and implement correct telephone operating procedures.
Assist guests as necessary.
Take down and relay messages.
Project a good image of the hotel by establishing good communication through telephone conversations.
Assist in pre-registration and blocking of rooms for reservations.
Understand room status and room status tracking.
Handle guests during check-in and check-out.
Provide a high standard of service.
Respond to guest requests.
Ensure the quality of service by following the SOP.
Be a team player.
Assist other departments by providing useful information.
Check arrival and departure lists on a daily basis.
Be aware of arrivals of VIPs.
Handle and welcome VIPs.
Upselling and cross-selling.
Maintain stock and keep it up to date.
Conduct toilet inspections.
