Job Description About the job IKEA Malaysia is seeking a passionate Fulfilment Manager with a strong commercial sense to drive our ambitious agenda, supporting the country in strengthening the IKEA brand and its competitive position through ensuring efficient and effective customer fulfilment operations, coordinating supply and demand to maximize product availability while minimizing costs, integrate global supply/logistics strategies into country fulfilment approach to optimize fulfilment execution and provide a great customer experience across all selling channels.
Your assignment Accountable for leading, coaching, and developing the country fulfilment organisation in securing excellence in-store fulfilment operations through strong matrix support.
Lead and inspire the Store Logistics Manager matrix and provide support with the necessary tools, methodologies, and functional competence.
Identify and motivate talents within the country fulfilment organization and secure long-term competence development and succession plans that contribute to a successful future of IKEA growth.
In addition, the matrix relationship supports competence development and succession for the key logistics roles in the stores.
Be an active member of the Global fulfilment network and share the responsibility for securing strategic direction, growth, and sustained profitability in the country.
Participate actively in creating the country's business plan and be accountable for converting it into fulfilment actions and goals to ensure fulfilment contributes to maximising growth in each country.
Work actively in the country's commercial team and contribute to the creation of the commercial calendar by fully integrating the fulfilment considerations thereby maximising the availability of stock for customers across all selling channels at the lowest possible cost.
Accountable for securing the fulfilment capacity requirements that form a part of the total supply chain capacity is integrated into the country expansion plan.
Develop the customer fulfilment business through innovations in technology, equipment, process improvement, people development, and sharing of best practices.
Deliver the best possible fulfilment performance results that contribute to the total value chain results by managing logistics costs in retail and initiating actions to reduce costs.
Set clear goals and expectations, such as logistics costs reflecting regional and local retail/supply strategies including country goals, and make time to follow these up with the Logistics Managers in each store in the country.
Ensure that all units (service offices and stores) work ethically and in compliance with internal and external laws/rules, including legislation relating to risk, sustainability, and health and safety regulation.
Qualifications Your profile Proven experience as a Fulfilment Manager at IKEA is essential.
Understanding of budget, cost, and key performance measurements used to plan, follow up, and steer the business.
Understanding of the regional, country, and store business plan processes and how to integrate fulfilment priorities into those plans.
Understanding of capacity planning and can analyse future needs and formulate actions to meet these needs at the lowest total cost.
Understanding of how other store and service office functions contribute to successful customer fulfilment operations.
Logistics knowledge to contribute within the service office commercial team, to raise the overall commerciality across all sales channels.
Knowledge of the IKEA Concept description, including the IKEA vision and business idea, and IKEA culture and values.
Capability to lead based on performing and delivering through team/stakeholder engagement.
Capability to build trust and communicate in a clear and targeted way with different people in different situations.
Capability to manage a high volume and agile retail environment, reaching the desired effect or results.
Capability to deliver, making things happen with speed, simplicity, and flexibility even in unpredictable situations.
Capability to follow up and optimize operational performance while considering tactical plans.
Capability to develop (support, coach, and train) others to grow and, at the same time, secure your own development.
