Project Description: Leading bank of Singapore embarking on various e-commerce platforms integration project and looking for strong functional test engineers to work on integration testing.
Skills required: • 4-5 years of software testing experience • Proven experience as a Data Warehouse Tester or similar role, with a solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and database technologies.
§ Proficiency in writing SQL queries for data validation and testing.
§ Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
§ Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
§ Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Have: Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for test automation.
Requirements 1.Test Planning and Preparation: - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define test scenarios.
- Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on functional and technical specifications.
- Ensure test cases align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Execution and Documentation: - Execute tests across different layers of the EDW architecture, including ETL processes, data models, and reporting interfaces.
- Perform data validation, integrity checks, and ensure data quality standards are met.
- Document test results, identify defects, and track issues to resolution using appropriate tools and methodologies.

Regression Testing and Automation: - Conduct regression testing to validate ongoing changes and enhancements to the EDW system.
- Automate test cases where applicable to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Maintain and update automated test scripts as needed.

Collaboration and Communication: - Work closely with data engineers, business analysts, and project managers to understand requirements and project timelines.
- Communicate test progress, findings, and potential risks to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
- Participate in meetings, reviews, and discussions related to EDW development and testing efforts.

Continuous Improvement: - Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in testing practices.
