Geologist

Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and identify potential CO2 storage sites, focusing on their geological and petrophysical propertiesDetailed assessment of caprock integrity, porosity, permeability and storage capacityBuild, refine and update 3D static geological models integrating seismic, well-logs and core data. Analyse depositional environments, fault system and stratigraphic relationships to ensure reservoir suitabilityAssess risk such as fault reactivation, induced seismicity and potential leakage pathwaysCollaborate with Reserve Engineer to design CO2 injection strategies, generate optimised Storage Development Plan and detailed MMV frameworkSupport overall containment risk assessment Qualification:
Bachelors or masters degree in Geology, Geoscience or a related discipline. PhD is a plus. Certification in CCS-specific programs is a plus.Minimum 15 years of working experiences with last 3 years in CCS or CO2 Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR)Proven expertise in geological modelling software (Petrel or Geology Designer)Expertise in seismic interpretation, well log analysis and core data evaluationFamiliar with geomechanical and geochemical processes related to CO2 storageStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communications and collaboration abilitiesAdaptability to work in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams
