JR60163 Global Chemical Management Program Manager (Evergreen)

As the Global Chemical Approver,you willbe responsible forensuringthat proposed chemicals meet the health, safety, environmental, and regulatoryconsiderations for Micron's Asia based sites.
A team member in this role willleverage their collaboration andcommunicationskills to helpcoordinate training, alignment, and efficiency activities in partnership with the site basedchemical approvers across the various Asia based sites.Back-end manufacturing(also known as assembly or packaging)experience is a plus asstrong alignment with theback-endprocess and procurementteamswill be needed to align on chemical management policies.
You will also work closely with the legal department, site operations teams, process engineers, facilities, procurement, andsuppliersengineersas needed to ensure chemical compliance.
Responsibilities and Tasks
CoordinatingAsia based Chemical Coordinators, andpossible coordinatingwith US based Chemical Coordinators
Developing and providing training for Chemical Coordinators and partner teams
Completeglobal approval of CEDARrecords
Performance of weekly check of new SAP Materials against CEDAR
Foster alignment w/ Back-end(assembly)teamon chemicalmanagementpolicies
Assistwith implementationof chemical softwaresystem
Assistin other chemical management activitiesas needed, such asauditing of SAP-CEDAR connections, auditingcompliance to material disclosure requirements,assistingimporter/exporter of recordactivities
Providing back-up for US basedChemical Management Program Lead
Education
Required: Bachelor's Degree
• Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Material Science or Engineering
Experience
Chemical regulatory basic knowledgerequired
Environmental, health,orsafetypreferred
Semiconductor backgroundpreferred
Back-end processing knowledgepreferred
