As the Senior Indirect Category Supplier Manager for Global Category team, you will be responsible for establishing the category strategy and supplier relationships for CSA (Civil, Structural, Architecture) category. You will partner with Global & Site Facilities and Regional Procurement teams to expand Global categorystrategies, workwith Micron Legal to resolve contract strategy needed to support each project, and then drive compliance to that contract. Your primary goal is to deliver the greatest value of each project, which require strong sourcing (negotiating), contracting, supplier management, and overall project management skills.
Foster collaboration with regional procurement teams, 3rd party service providers, and supplier account teams across different categories and regions, tackling an indirect leadership role. You will engage in and lead the development and implementation of category strategies to optimize cost, supply, and quality. Additional responsibilities include reaching an agreement on the terms, conditions and pricing to leverage spend, leading and participating in department projects, serving as a primary contact for industry and supplier information, and acting as a mentor for other members within the Procurement organization.

REPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
Manage Supplier Relationship Globally
Act as primary point of contact for assigned suppliers and projects
Perform commercial supplier qualification activities to ensure the commercial development of strategic suppliers
Maintain collaborative relationships with supplier(s) while effectively resolving supplierperformance/capabilityissues to ensure alignment with company's strategic direction
Ensure suppliers align with Micron's business ethics, code-of-conduct programs, and corporate safety policies and social responsibility initiatives
Communicate key supplier management updates and decisions to multiple levels in the organization including Executive Leadership
Enlist senior management, when appropriate, to help reinforce dedication and involvement from suppliers.
Provide the voice of the supply base to Micron and vice versa.
Drive Negotiations with Suppliers
Lead or participate in terms for contract
Lead on sourcing events/RFQ process
Develop a contract strategy for each project, including to build, negotiate, handle and implement contracted terms and conditions
Incorporate savings targets and contract requirements into negotiations
Handle Supplier Performance
Collaborate with collaborators and site teams to develop a comprehensive understanding of supplier performance.
Collect and relay site specific priorities to suppliers
Own and handle overall Strategic Supplier relation for category
Collaborate internally to drive and develop key performance measures/metrics for Strategic Suppliers and oversee supplier performance against these expectations to ensure continuous supplier improvement
Lead in coordinating and delivering on strategic supplier events, such as Quarterly Business Reviews, Annual Supplier Evaluations, and Executive Review Meetings
Build and Implement Category Strategy
Participate in supplier segmentation and strategic goal setting
Provide market intelligence and price trends to relevant internal collaborators on a focused schedule
Apply should-cost models for assigned categories that are benchmarked and relevant to the global marketplace
Serve as the subject matter expert for Facilities procurement category and share knowledge with key collaborators and Indirect teams to enable more effective planning, forecasting and execution
REQUIREMENTS
Education background of Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience or higher
PMP certification or equivalent, preferred.
Prioritise multiple large-scale projects concurrently, ability to work with less supervision, strong project management skills
10+ years' experience in CSA material and CSA early works category management in construction industry.
Strong category knowledge in CSA early works including concrete works, steel works, architectural works, and construction material
United States market intelligence in Semiconductor industry
Proficient in MS office
Comfort around Senior Leaders and Executives, ability to build and deliver executive-level presentations
Travelling is expected and required for this role.
