Group Accountant (Group Reporting)

Group Accountant (Property + Construction Company)A property and construction company which is rapidly expanding across Malaysia is looking for a career-minded group accountant to be part of their team. You will be reporting directly to the CFO of the company.Main Responsibilities of the Group Accountant
Prepare and manage the consolidated financial statements for the group in accordance with applicable financial reporting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
Oversee group-level adjustments and reconciliations.
Deliver timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Perform detailed analysis of consolidated financial results, highlighting key trends and variances.
Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the consolidation and reporting processes.
Provide actionable insights and recommendations to management based on financial performance.Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
Experience in group consolidation and financial reporting.
Familiarity with consolidation tools or ERP systems is an advantage.
Able to work independently and have a good eye for details.
External audit experience is welcomed to apply.Benefits
