Key Responsibilities: Prepare the group consolidation on a monthly basis, ensuring accuracy and compliance with international accounting standards (IFRS).
Ensure timely submission of financial data and reports from subsidiaries and review submissions for completeness and accuracy.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive group reporting package for management and stakeholders.
Review monthly inter-company matrix for balances and transactions; manage elimination of inter-company transactions during consolidation.
Collaborate with regional and local finance teams to streamline reporting processes and enhance efficiency.
Provide insights and analysis on consolidated financial results, including variance analysis and key financial metrics.
Liaise with external auditors during year-end audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations related to group consolidation and reporting.
Identify opportunities for process improvements in group reporting and consolidation activities; lead and implement these improvements.
Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and standards; ensure compliance and adjust reporting processes as required.
Assist in ad-hoc projects and initiatives as necessary to support the finance team and broader organizational goals.
Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification preferred along with at least 5 years' experience in group consolidation, financial reporting, and accounting operations within a multinational organization.
Strong understanding of international accounting standards (IFRS) and their application to group reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; experience with SAP or other accounting systems is advantageous.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate effectively across functions and regions.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and meeting deadlines.
