The Head of Data Engineering is first and foremost a leader within the department overseeing activities related to data ingestion, transformation, extraction and operations for internal and external client needs.
This role takes responsibility for the accessibility, retrievability, security, quality, retention and ethical handling of datasets.
The Head of Data Engineering designs, implements and operationalizes data pipelines to achieve those objectives.
With CLIENT currently starting a cloud migration journey, this role brings cloud expertise and supports design and migration activities to transition existing services into the cloud.
