Head, Marketing Job Summary:
Lead a team of Product Development, Marketing, Brand andmunications to meet the organisation's product development and enhancement goals, as well as deliver and drive the marketing andmunication plan aimed at retaining customers and acquiring new ones.
Job Description: Ensure a healthy product portfolio mix with effective launches of innovative products, product enhancements, and initiatives. Strategic alignment with all distribution channels to meet product strategy objectives through focus groups, periodic meetings, analysis, and surveys. Responsible for thepany's marketing andmunications strategies. Strategise, develop, and implement a sound marketingmunications plan to project a positive image that appeals to both internal and external customers. Oversee the marketing campaign for Great Eastern Takaful, ensuring they match thepany's unique selling points in Malaysia and are consistently used in all forms of advertising and promotional materials. Drive and control the agreed marketing activities within the budget, consistently meeting tight timelines without significant variance in budget or resource requirements. Drive efficiency in product management and digital initiatives whileplying with regulatory requirements and supportingpany initiatives. Implement advertising and MA plans to penetrate new customer bases and promote newly launched products. Conceptualise marketing positioning and creative execution of product advertising campaigns and media plans. Enhance the brand image, increase brand awareness, and provide after-sales support through advertisements, media, point-of-sale, partnerships, and relationship marketing. Our Requirements: A recognised degree holder, preferably with a background in Actuarial Science or Marketing. Additional qualifications such as CFP, RFP, and FLMI will be an added advantage. At least 8-10 years of working experience in the Insurance or Takaful industry, especially in Product Development or Marketing. Good leadership and networking skills. Effective relationship management. Market research skills. Industry knowledge and business acumen. Strongmunication skills and creativity. Experience in marketing planning and operations.
