Grab's lending division, GFSA (Grab Financial Services Asia), provides microcredit to drivers, agents, and merchants within the Grab ecosystem.
The Country Credit Operations team establishes and implements credit risk management policies. They collaborate with the Country Head, Product team, and Regional Credit Risk team to improve technological and risk methodologies.

This role offers substantial opportunities for professional growth, encompassing the full spectrum of credit risk management, including data integrity, systems, reporting, and risk/capital methodologies.
You will report directly to theHead of Lending, Malaysia GrabFin. and be based in Petaling Jaya, working onsite.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
You willdevelop and implement the credit framework/Credit Policies for the country.
You willhelp develop and implement data collection, data analytics, and other strategies to analyze statistical efficiency and guide decision-making.
You willanalyze data using an out-of-the-box lens from within and outside the Grab ecosystem to help make Credit decisions.
You willestablish measurements to analyze credit model and policy performance, uncover insights, and identify targeted areas for improvements.
You willwork with business, data analytics, and other departments to calibrate country credit policy and help dynamic prioritization of credit business.
You willmonitor credit performance metrics to identify issues and new credit processes or feature improvements, and business growth opportunities.
You willhelp provide inputs from a Credit Risk perspective for regulatory approvals.
You willhelp design and implement reports and performance measurement dashboards.
What Essential Skills You Will Need
You havea Bachelor's in Statistics, Mathematics, or Economics.
You have8 years of relevant work experience in credit policy, credit analytics, or an insights-related role.
You haveanalytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze significant amounts of information and accuracy.
You haveexpertise in queries, report writing, and presenting findings, and willingness to share knowledge with the team.
You havea detail-oriented approach and efficient time management skills, growing in a dynamic work environment.
You havetechnical expertise regarding data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques, and the ability to conceptualize and execute credit scoring using non-conventional alternative data.
You haveexperience in managing regulatory approvals in your country, a strong foundation in data query/manipulation using SQL, data visualization using tools like Tableau, and proficiency in programming languages such as SAS, R, Python, SPSS, Matlab, or other tools for statistical analysis (good to have).
