We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of Engineering to join our team in the Industrial Lubricants sector. In this role, you will report directly to the Head of the Industrial Lubricant Division and will be responsible for managing all projects and securing business opportunities in the B2B segment.
Direct report to Head of Industrial Lubricant Division in managing all projects and/or business secured B2B segment. Working closely with Industrial lubricant sales team to secure engineering driven projects and/or business opportunities. Lead the engineering team. Maintain highly motivated and competent team with regular engagement, rigorous competency framework and learning opportunities for team members. Ensure that all existing and targeted projects are provided with sufficient engineering support from conceptualization to execution of the engineering plan on site. Willing to travel within Peninsular Malaysia and Asia for engineering driven projects and/or business opportunities, training, workshop, conference and etc. Prepare & submit monthly, quarterly and yearly engineering report to our lubricant brand principle. Provide technical support to all sales representatives and customers regarding to IL, CVL, PVL, and AVL lubricants product. Provide lubricant recommendations and/or solutions for customers based on application and industry standards. Conduct internal and external training, workshop, engineering investigation report, used oil analysis, plant study, lube, charting, lubrication excellence program implementation and etc. Promote lubricant engineering program to customers and to ensure successful implementation of engineering support service to company's key accounts. Job requirement Minimum degree in engineering (preferably in Mechanical, Chemical, or Oil & Gas). Additional certifications such as Certified Machinery Lubrication Specialist or Certified Lubrication Specialist are preferred. At least 5 years of experience in the industrial or engineering-related field, with prior managerial experience preferred. Preferred with manager experience. Must possess own transport and be willing to travel extensively. Fluency in Mandarin is preferred but not compulsory, as the role involves dealing with major Mandarin-speaking clients. Proficiency in English and/or Malay (oral and written) is also required.
