Management (Information & Communication Technology)Full timeThe Head of IT Operations will lead the development and implementation of IT operations strategies and roadmaps, ensuring alignment with the overall Group IT strategic plans. Acting as a trusted advisor to the Tune Protect Malaysia leadership team, the incumbent will ensure IT services effectively address business needs while maintaining operational excellence and mitigating risks related to IT landscapes. This role requires a strong understanding of the technology landscape, the ability to foster stakeholder relationships, and a focus on security, business continuity, and operational excellence.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide leadership to the IT Operations unit, fostering a culture of business orientation and continuous service improvement.Develop and execute IT operations strategies and roadmaps aligned with Group IT and enterprise strategic plans.Control annual operating and capital expenditure budgets (Capex/Opex).Support the business in driving customer-centric initiatives for good customer engagement and experience.IT Service ManagementEnsure smooth transition and ongoing support for the core system migration to go-live and post-go-live phases.Oversee IT end-user services, core system operations and IT service management.Ensure service level agreements (SLAs) and operating level agreements (OLAs) across Tune Protect entities are met consistently.Lead IT service management initiatives and develop IT scorecards for senior management reviews.Identify, assess, and communicate risks related to the IT landscape.Ensure effective application of security, risk management, and business continuity principles.Address and resolve findings from internal and external IT audits (e.g., EY, KPMG) to achieve timely closure.Partner and Vendor EngagementDevelop IT vendor management processes and governance frameworks.Enhance engagement with strategic partners and suppliers through effective partner governance.Foster collaborative partnerships to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.Performance and GovernanceMeasure and ensure operational services and performance using consistent and accurate metrics.Align IT initiatives with the long-term and annual business plans of the organization.Support the rollout of security and quality assurance initiatives.Maintain close coordination with audit, product, and technology teams to drive improvements.Key Deliverables/ExpectationsDigital and API-first approach to IT operations.Seamless core system implementation and ongoing support.Effective management of two core systems integral to the transformation process.Successful closure of audit findings and improved risk management.Implementation of IT service scorecards and consistent measurement of performance.Alignment of IT operations with strategic goals, ensuring ROI and cost optimization.QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.Minimum 10 years of versatile experience in IT Application Operations, with a preference for candidates from financial institutions, though not mandatory.Proven experience in managing and implementing modern technologies, including:Cloud infrastructure and services.Digital business models.API-driven architectures.SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:Leadership & Communication: Ability to drive high accountability teams and communicate with all stakeholders effectively.Customer Focus: Commitment to delivering customer-centric IT services that meet business and customer needs.Risk Management: Expertise in identifying and mitigating IT-related risks.Vendor Management: Skilled in establishing and managing partnerships with vendors and service providers.#J-18808-Ljbffr
