DescriptionHead of Legal Position OverviewThe Head of Legal will be responsible for providing strategic legal advice to the Management and Board, identifying and assessing legal risks, and developing effective strategies to mitigate them. The role requires a strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:Advise on legal, compliance, and governance issues, and provide strategic recommendations/action plans.
Collaborate with stakeholders in executing and implementing recommendations/action plans aligned with legal strategies and business goals/objectives.
Identify and assess legal risks associated with business operations and activities, proposing mitigation strategies and plans.
Manage legal risks, addressing challenges, and minimizing potential risks through proactive collaboration with business and support units.
Legal Strategies and Regulatory Compliance:Develop and implement legal strategies aligned with the Group's objectives.
Stay up-to-date on industry-specific legal issues, trends, laws, and regulations.
Evaluate the Group's compliance with all legal requirements, providing guidance on potential impacts.
Leadership and Team Development:Head and manage the legal department, supervising team members' work, progress, and development.
Lead and strengthen technical and commercial awareness among team members.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture, supporting team member growth and development.
Requirements:Minimum 12 years of experience with in-depth knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Experience in property and corporate transactions.
High professionalism, ethics, and integrity, with ability to anticipate legal issues and potential risks.
Senior leadership and management experience in legal functions.
Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Estimated Salary:$150,000 per annum, depending on experience.#J-18808-Ljbffr
