The Head of Payment Channel Management oversees partnerships and operations across payment channels, driving profitability, compliance, and efficient cross-functional collaboration.
Scope & Authority:
Lead and manage partnerships with payment networks, acquiring banks/non-banks, and payment partners such as Paynet, Axiata Digital Capital (Payflex), and Boost Bank (SME/MSME Lending and CASA).
Drive collaboration with Product, Merchant Operations, and Risk & Compliance teams to ensure seamless rollout of payment channels.
Own the Profit & Loss (P&L) for all payment channels, monitor performance, and implement strategies to maximize profitability.
Oversee the end-to-end payment value chain, including merchant onboarding, payment processing, and risk management, ensuring process efficiency and operational excellence.
Develop and execute partner programs and campaigns to strengthen collaboration and drive growth.
Ensure full compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements across payment networks and acquiring banks/non-banks.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA is an advantage.
Minimum 10 years in payment channel management, partnerships, or financial operations.
Deep understanding of payment networks, acquiring systems, and regulatory compliance.
Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and complex projects.
