About the roleWe are seeking a driven and organised Junior HR & Admin Assistant to join our team at Hong Poh Engineering Construction Sdn Bhd inPaya Terubong,Penang .
In this full-time role, you will provide essential administrative and HR support to ensure the smooth running of our operations.
What you'll be doing
Assist with the full range of HR administrative tasks, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and employee records management
Provide general administrative support, such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence
Contribute to the development and maintenance of office systems and procedures
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to address queries and resolve issues
Perform ad-hoc tasks as required to support the overall business objectives
What we're looking for
Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail
Experience in a junior HR or administrative role, preferably in the construction industry
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and comfortable with data entry and record-keeping
A proactive and problem-solving mindset with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service
Proficiency in reading and writing Mandarin is highly desirable and will be considered an added advantage for this position
