Hr Assistant

We are looking for a dedicated and proactive HR Assistant to support the HR Business Partner (HRBP) in key HR functions, with a focus on foreign worker management, hostel management, and handling various authority errands.
The ideal candidate will assist in ensuring the smooth operation of these HR processes and provide administrative support to both employees and external agencies.
Key Responsibilities :
Foreign Worker Management : Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and documentation of foreign workers, ensuring compliance with work permits, visa regulations, and employment laws.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of foreign workers, including contract management, work permits, and residency documents.
Liaise with relevant government authorities and agencies regarding the management of foreign workers.
Hostel Management : Oversee the administration of company-provided accommodation (hostels) for workers, ensuring proper maintenance, safety, and cleanliness.
Coordinate hostel assignments, track occupancy, and address any concerns or issues raised by workers regarding their accommodation.
Ensure that hostel facilities meet the company's standards and comply with local housing regulations.
Authority Errands : Handle various errands with local authorities, including submitting required documents, following up on permits, and ensuring compliance with legal or regulatory requirements.
Assist the HRBP with other administrative HR tasks and project coordination as needed.
Support employee welfare programs and initiatives related to accommodation, foreign worker management, and legal documentation.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of all processes related to foreign worker management and hostel operations.
Skills & Qualifications :
1-2 years of experience in HR, administrative support, or a similar role (experience with foreign workers or hostel management is a plus).
Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Knowledge of immigration laws, work permits, and employment regulations for foreign workers is desirable.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and a team player with a strong sense of responsibility.
Possess own transport and flexible to travel within Klang Valley.
