Description Duties and Responsibilities:Strategic Partnership• Collaborate with business leaders to understand their goals and provide HR support to achieve them• Develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectivesEmployee Relations• Act as a point of contact for employees and managers, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures• Address employee concerns and grievances in a timely and effective manner• Foster a positive and inclusive workplace cultureTalent Management• Assist in workforce planning and talent acquisition to meet the company's staffing needs• Support the onboarding process and ensure new hires integrate smoothly into the organizationCompliance and Policies• Ensure compliance with Malaysian labor laws and regulations• Update and maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring they are communicated effectively to employees• Handle disciplinary actions and terminations in accordance with company policy and legal requirementsHR Reporting and Analytics• Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports to provide insights to management• Use data to drive decision-making and improve HR processesSkills/Abilities• Broad knowledge and application of Human Resources principles, practices, and procedures• Proven leadership skills to counsel managers and employees coupled with the ability to coach/mentor leaders on organizational and individual performance needs and solutions• In-depth knowledge of Malaysian labor laws and HR best practices• Applies consulting skills to problem solve and identify solutions to support workforce strategies• Ability to work with others in organizational development, designing jobs, support group problem solving and identifying and removing barriers• Demonstrated ability to facilitate change, persuade and negotiate to reach acceptable compromise/solutions among all levels in the organization.
