Hr Cum Payroll Executive

Responsibilities:Gather necessary inputs/data for payroll processing.
Ensure all data requirements are met before payroll runs.
Verify that employee information is accurate and updated in the payroll system.
Avoid data discrepancies to ensure smooth payroll operations.
Payroll Processing:Prepare and process monthly payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
Handle adjustments, overtime, allowances, and other compensation details.
Assist with the implementation and maintenance of payroll systems and processes.
Contribution Calculations and Deductions:Calculate and deduct mandatory EPF contributions from employees' wages as per the applicable rates.
Ensure SOCSO and EIS (Employment Insurance System) contributions are computed correctly for both employees and employers.
Deduct and remit income tax (PCB/MTD – Monthly Tax Deduction) based on the current tax brackets and regulations.
Process and remit final EPF and SOCSO contributions and ensure compliance with government regulations.
Compliance and Regulation:Ensure payroll operations comply with Malaysian labor laws, EPF, SOCSO, and Income Tax regulations.
Stay informed about changes in payroll-related legislation.
Entertain and manage government requests, including providing required information for immigration and appearing at government offices when needed.
Employee Support:Assist employees in understanding their pay slips, tax filings, and leave balances.
Prepare payroll-related documents such as offer letters, transfer letters, promotion letters, and confirmation letters.
Conduct exit interviews, complete documentation, and manage employee departures.
Prepare documents required by government when there is employee resignation or return back to their country.
Data Management, Renewal and Auditing:Maintain accurate payroll and employee records, including salary and benefits.
Prepare payroll files for both internal and external audits.
Renew employee insurance management, including personal accident, hospitalization, and vehicle insurance.
Handle and assist on insurance submission when required.
General HR and Administrative Support:Responsible for foreign worker management including renewal, hostel management and other related matters.
Manage office administration duties, including facility and equipment maintenance.
Responsible for arranging training, training needs survey and HRDF claim.
Undertake any other HR and admin tasks or ad-hoc assignments as directed by management or superiors.
Job Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
Preferably 2 years of working experience in payroll and human resources.
Fresh graduates for Human Resources related study who are keen to learn are welcome to apply.
Familiarity with payroll software (e.g.
Info-Tech Systems) and strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling numerical data.
Sound knowledge of employment laws, tax regulations and statutory requirements.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve payroll-related issues efficiently.
Effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with employees and management.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and maintain organized records.
High degree of integrity and ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Manage high-pressure situations, particularly during peak payroll periods and when resolving complex payroll discrepancies.
