Job Title:HR Generalist (Senior Executive)
Summary/Objective:
The HR Generalist includes full-cycle recruiting, onboarding and offboarding employees, handling employee relations and conflict resolution, ensuring policy compliance, and managing HR administrative tasks.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
Work with hiring managers and schedule pre-recruiting meetings to ensure all needs and wants are understood before searching.
Source, contact, and research potential passive candidates that might meet the requirements.
Schedule phone and in-person interviews, gather follow-up information from hiring managers for follow-up to candidates.
Interview job applicants to obtain information on work history, training, education, or job skills.
Place ads on various social media outlets, websites, etc.
When necessary, arrange travel for candidates out of the area to interview, tour, etc.
Manage the student/co-op program for all areas, including attendance at job fairs, campus career days, etc.
Develop and implement recruiting strategies to meet current or anticipated staffing needs.
Confirm accuracy and integrity of all data entered in HRIS and databases.
Support all HRIS system needs.
Manage the end-to-end onboarding process.
Generate official internal documents such as offer letters, employment contracts, and HR letters.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Employment laws, Industrial Relations Act, and compliance requirements.
Respond to human resources-related inquiries.
Assist in any necessary investigations and disciplinary actions including preparing warning letters.
Conduct and analyze exit interviews and recommend corrective action if necessary.
Monitor and ensure termination dashboard assures all steps are completed for compliance.
Adhere to all Samtec Quality Principles and actions.

Required Experience:
3 years in a related/similar position.
Must have great communication skills as this person will be interacting with all levels of the organization.
Must have great organizational & time management skills.
Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously as priorities can change very quickly.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Must be able to sit/stand for at least 90 consecutive minutes, and not suffer from any sensory deprivation and/or paralysis of the limbs.
Preferred Education:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or equivalent/related technical experience.
