Job Description The HRIS Manager is a hands-on role responsible for providing functional and technical expertise.
This role serves as an authority on the HRIS solutions and will lead the deployment, and manage the day-today functions of HRIS systems – both home grown and commercial system Duties/Responsibilities: Oversees and maintains optimal function of the HRIS, which may include installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules.
This includes managing external development effort for existing home grow systems.
Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users.
Collaborates with management and HR staff to identify system improvements and enhancements.
Manages permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users.
Compiles or assists with the acquisition of complex data reports, summaries, and logs for senior executives and HR staff.
Serves as lead representative and liaison between HR, information services, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HRIS design and implementation projects.
Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements working with cross functional teams.
Executes full range of HRIS functions within the HRIS Application including creation of specification and support of new inbound/outbound integrations, business process optimization and key annual processes i.e., Annual Enrollment, Performance Reviews, Talent Management, etc Promotes awareness of system capabilities (mass updates), new releases and upgrades, and how they impact existing and future HR functionality.
Focuses on continuous improvement.
Documents HRIS processes and procedures and suggests modifications to current practices as required to streamline, improve efficiency, and provide consistency across people systems.
Assists with testing Integrations/interfaces.
Responsible for ad-hoc reports within HRIS based on business and/or customer needs.
Captures requirements and works with various multi-functional teams to provide system support.
Performs impact analysis for major releases.
Performs other duties as required.

Experience with Interfaces or integration of systems.
Ability to manipulate large and complex data sets with great efficiency.
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in information technology, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field required.
Five to eight years of related experience in managing Workday HRIS System.
