As part of AL Maritime, Cryogenic Tank Services (CTS) is a Malaysian entity which was acquired in 2015. CTS specializes in cryogenic tank and equipment rental for the offshore and maritime industries as well as in cryogenic transport of molecules, and provides a full range of repair and testing services.
CTS is looking to accelerate its expansion through key development segments. CTS is looking to accelerate its expansion through key development segments. The HSEQ Engineer position is within CTS, based in Kuala Lumpur and the key missions will be to handle all related Quality and HSE matters in accordance to company's policy and guidelines, among others: How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? Assist and cooperate with the Operation Department and / or any other department on HSEQ related matters. Prepare or assist in the ISO 9001 & Industrial Management System (IMS) documentation (e.g. non conformance report, internal and external audit, etc.). Update any document relating to QMS (e.g.: Quality Procedure and forms) and ensure the current revision status of documents are identified Design, update and maintain HSEQ documentation (e.g. HSEQ Performance Data). Assist in conducting workplace inspection and report the findings. Assist in updating legal checklist of statutory and regulatory requirements (including Industrial Operations and Products/ Services Regulatory Compliance) Assist in the planning, promotion and engagement of HSEQ programmes and events. Monitor periodic calibration or preventive maintenance of internal equipment and machines. Assist in conducting site safety induction for visitors, subcontractors and employees. Assist and coordinate safe work permit issuance for specific jobs. Assist in HSEQ internal training. Assist in supervision of particular dangerous activities whenever the need is identified. Assist in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives (e.g. daily performance management (DPM)) with the support of AL Maritime Continuous improvement leader. Are you a MATCH? Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma @ Bachelor's Degree with at least one (1) year experience in HSEQ duties, preferably having Engineering background Computer literacy and familiarity with various computer programs (e.g Google Workspace) Good command of English and Malay in reading, writing and speaking. Able to work and communicate effectively with internal and external parties. Strong planning & organizing skills and result-driven. Good communication skills, analytical and strong strategic thinking. Familiar with ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018 Certified OSH-C is an added advantage.
