Our export markets include ASEAN countries and the Middle East.After our public-listing exercise, we are currently undergoing major expansion and we invite all enthusiasts and energetic individuals to join our growing team.Job Description:Develop organization strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues; contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to organization strategic thinking and direction and enforcing organizations core values.Lead and work with the HR team to drive the delivery of strategic people plans and solutions.Establish Human Resources objectives in line with the organization's goals, vision, and mission.Implement and standardize the needed employee lifecycle organizational processes and policies.Oversee and manage the end-to-end HR operations and business partner functions.Support the management by providing human resources advice, counsel, and recommendations; analyzing information and applications.Suggest and implement new HR strategies, new procedures, and policies to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of HR and improve the employee experience.Collaborate closely with the Key Talent Management team to drive Talent Management Initiatives such as talent pipelining, talent reviews, succession planning, talent development, etc., across the organization.Work closely with stakeholders to improve work relationships, increase productivity, and retention.Partner with line managers and provide HR guidance.Own and facilitate the annual performance management and reward strategies and initiatives, including Performance Planning and Target Setting, periodical reviews, the Year-End Review, Annual Rewards, etc.Partner with hiring managers and heads of divisions and departments to identify business needs, and translate them into a strategic manpower plan and talent acquisition strategy.Lead core Processes such as performance calibration, compensation cycle, promotions, and learning and development.Work and collaborate with the Department Heads and Line managers to resolve employee performance/disciplinary issues and address grievances.Guide and advise the Business accordingly in compliance with Labour requirements and best practices.Responsible for monthly payroll closing including any and all transactions related to employee salary, claims, payment in-lieu, bonuses, etc.Process owner of ID badge printing and responsible for ensuring all employees have their ID badges.Documentations & Processes:All paperwork and documentation processes involving FW (correspondence letters, etc.
).All governmental processes involving FW (FWCMS, Immigration, etc.
).Passport renewal (reminder and document preparation).Opening of bank account (MBB) for foreign workers.Replacing missing/stolen/etc.
ATM card (MBB).Check-out memo, air ticket check-in, salary holding/release, leave balance calculation.Police report lodging whenever necessary.Monthly spot checks (once a month).Major spot checks with other managers + inspection results reporting (once every quarter).Renewal of Bicycle License at hostel management.All billing-related matters (Maintenance Fee, Electricity, Water, etc.
).Liaising with the Contractor on any reparations needed in hostels.Attending to FW who are unwell and could not send themselves to the clinic/hospital.Scheduled KK/clinic/hospital visits of FW which are crucial eg.
TB follow-up, etc.To take turns reasonably with the Manufacturing Senior Manager if an overload of health cases happens, schedules are to be discussed for confirmation & approval before proceeding.Foreign Worker Disciplinary Issues:To monitor any unusual leave behavior and report to the Senior HR Manager and the Senior Manufacturing Manager.To report any fighting, drinking, or drug consumption to the Senior HR Manager and Senior Operations Manager then follow up with the Operations Director on the next course of action and final decision.Champion of Organization Culture and Values as well as People Leadership:Lead by example, exemplify company values and positive company culture.Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement in pursuit of the plans and targets of the organization.Provide necessary leadership and guidance through empowerment and mentoring the team in their roles and responsibilities encouraging growth and employee autonomy.Responsible for executing performance reviews and interviews for the department.Maintain a high level of employee engagement as part of the effort to boost productivity, employee retention and satisfaction, increase customer satisfaction, retain the best people and enhance the company culture.Job Requirement:At least 10 years of working experience in a human resources generalist role.Have 5 years experience managing a team.Experience in Info Tech System.Knowledge in manpower budgeting, HR processes, and execution.Proven accomplishments within areas of HR.Solid knowledge of the Malaysian Employment Act.Computer literate with decent knowledge of MS Office.Good time management and multitasking.Independent with good problem-solving skills.Your application will include the following questions:What's your expected monthly basic salary?Which of the following types of qualifications do you have?How many years' experience do you have as a human resources manager?How many years' experience do you have in Human Resources (HR)?How many years of recruitment experience do you have?How many years' experience do you have as a manager/team lead?How many years of payroll experience do you have?Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics 101-1,000 employeesUnique Fire is a leading, multi-award-winning fire fighting equipment manufacturing company specializing in fire protection equipment and gas systems.
