Successful candidates would be offered a fixed term of employment.About The JobTo understand the Human Resources requirements in the business unit under their responsibility and to provide support, advice and expertise to meet the business needs to managers and employees of this business unit.Main ChallengesManage different levels of employees in terms of aligning the business objectives.
Malaysia is a main hub for APAC BU, therefore the population will not be only in Malaysia.
Maintain the Industrial Relation literacy.Main AccountabilitiesUnderstands the short/medium/long term business requirements and advises the most appropriate HR solutions.
Provides advice to managers and employees on HR policies and practices and employment legislation.
Builds a strong business relationship with the business unit / area and transfers HR requests and solutions to/from the business unit.
Works closely with COE and line managers in the delivery of HR process and ensures the implementation of P&C projects.
Implements best practices and supports the delivery of HR processes at the business unit / area.
Identifies gaps, proposes and implements changes necessary to cover risks.
Acts as the performance improvement driver and provokes positive changes in the people management.
Works closely with Industrial Relations Business Partners on any matter related to IR.
Identifies and implements new managerial development methodologies supported by efficient related tools, when applicable.
Supervises application of the International Mobility policies, when applicable.
Responsible for Labor law and Social Security compliance, when applicable.
Responsible for data integrity in HR systems.
Provides counseling and advice to employees to improve morale and work culture.
Collaborates with the leadership team to identify talent, closing the talent gaps, future needs & growth opportunities for the talents.
Has in-depth Talent Management experience.
Performs other related duties as assigned.About YouBachelor's degree in human resources or equivalent (preferably HR related).
Minimum 5 years of generalist HR experience or business partnering with department managers.
Excellent communication skills (listening, analyzing, and influencing people).
Excellent presentation skills.
Strong planning and organizational skills.
Meticulous, attention to detail.
Strong negotiation skills.
Fluent in English.Nice to haveExperience working with multiple countries in Asia in one or several HR domains; a regional role will be an added advantage.What's next?Starting Date: Immediate
