Industrial & Employee Relations (Human Resources & Recruitment)
Develops HR policy and Employee Handbook
Manages and maintains office policy and procedure documentation
Supports organization staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; and recommending changes
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state employment law and compliance requirements
Respond to human resources-related inquiries
Handles matters related to expatriate staff
Creates scheduling, safety, and education programs sensitive to the unique situations of medical professionals.
Eg.
: arrange panel clinic
Maintain company organization charts and employee directory
Administer new employee onboarding and orientation.
Assists in staff evaluation
Prepares employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs
Investigate employee issues and conflicts and brings them to resolution
Handling workplace investigations, disciplinary, and termination procedures
Manages monthly payroll processing, assess and approve employee's claims, MC claims and miscellaneous claims
Maintain and report on workplace health and safety compliance
Partner with management to ensure strategic HR goals are aligned with business initiatives
Working Hours:Monday to Friday (9am – 6pm) and every Saturday (9am – 1pm)
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business or equivalent
At least 5 years of relevant working experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of a broad range of human resource strategies and practices, including compensation, performance management, safety, hiring and employee relations; able to apply these strategies and practices in compliance with employment regulations
Strong knowledge in Malaysia Statutory Acts (i.e EPF, SOCSO, LHDN, etc.
), Employment Act 1955, and other related HR Acts
Good knowledge in using the payroll system (i.e SQL, etc.)
and other related HR system
Ability to create a culture of diversity, inclusivity, collaboration and teamwork
