Job DescriptionResponsible for maintaining positive Direct employee relationships and ensuring compliance with employment laws.
Liaison for court matters between the Company, Solicitors & IR Court for all Company's IR cases.
Responsible for Industrial Relation activities including handling disciplinary cases and advising management on best practices.
Handle complaints, grievances and disciplinary issues, performance management, and absence management. Grievance procedures include conducting investigations, preparing the necessary disciplinary letters, and conducting domestic inquiries.
Advise and direct line managers accordingly on the appropriate disciplinary actions consistent with the Company's policy and procedures.
Mediator/Company Representative for JPP/JTK Negotiations meetings.
Responsible for preparing collective bargaining agreements and participating in the coordination of collective bargaining agreements.
Assist in the revision of Collective Agreement.
Initiate efforts that promote good faith and mutual respect in terms of relationships with the Union (worksite committee and National Union).
Direct positions management from hiring till exit.
Well versed in RBA on HR topics.
Other tasks as assigned by the Head of Dept.
QualificationsCandidate must have a minimum degree in Human Resource or Business Administration or specializing in IR to apply.
At least 10 years of working experience in related scope will be required for this position. Preferably Senior Executive or Assistant Manager specializing in Human Resources IR/ER or equivalent.
Besides IR/ER, must be able to do multi-tasking in other HR matters such as Direct employees management from hiring to exit, Foreign workers, etc.
Strong knowledge & experience in Union Management, Malaysian Labour Law, IR / Employment Act and other related legislation.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
