Job Summary: Reporting to the Managing Director, the Human Resources Manager will lead and manage the full spectrum of HR functions within the company, including recruitment & manpower planning, payroll processing, compensation and benefits, employee relations, learning & development, talent management, and other relevant HR scopes which may be required from time to time. The ideal candidate must be hands-on supporting day-to-day HR operations including payroll processing while providing strategic guidance to enhance business alignment and ensuring of an overall positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage all aspects of HR functions and to ensure compliance of group policies, rules, regulations, deadlines and smooth operations. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, including the employee handbook and workplace procedures that align with company goals and legal requirements.Manage full-cycle recruitment process to attract, hire and retain talent to meet the company's expansion plans. Monitor and Analyze turnover rates and develop retention strategies to reduce employee turnover.Perform payroll processing related activities, including statutory payments before the deadline (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, HRDF), ensuring accuracy and timely disbursement.Conducting market surveys of the industry salary structures. Review and adjust compensation structures, ensuring competitiveness with industry benchmarks.Foster a positive work environment by promoting effective communication, employee engagement, and a strong organizational culture. Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives, such as recognition programs, employee surveys, and team-building activities.Address employee relations issues, including counselling, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling.Implement performance management systems such as goal setting, performance reviews and support employee development, including onboarding, evaluations, promotions, and succession planning.Oversee hostel management, foreign workers work pass applications, and accommodation for employees. Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional growth and success. Ensure all matters related to office administration are delivered, i.e. daily office supplies management, company vehicles, safety & cleanliness guidelines, etc. Any other ad hoc assignments assigned by the Management from time to time.Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields.Minimum 6 years of HR management experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.Strong knowledge of Malaysia's Employment Act 1955 and other statutory regulations.Proficient in Mandarin (spoken and written) as the role required to liaise with mandarin speaking stakeholders, English, and Bahasa Malaysia.Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on multi-tasking and execution.Benefits: Attractive remuneration packageOpportunities for career advancementStaff discounts across our restaurant outlets
