Position Overview:
The HVAC Project Sales Engineer/ Manager plays a pivotal role in driving sales growth for HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) projects by identifying opportunities, understanding client needs, designing tailored solutions, and closing deals.
This position requires a blend of technical expertise in HVAC systems, strong sales acumen, and exceptional communication skills to effectively engage clients, present solutions, and collaborate with internal teams, helping the company secure HVAC projects, overseeing project execution and planned completion.
Key Responsibilities:Business Development:
Identify and cultivate potential clients, projects, and opportunities within the HVAC sector.
Research and stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and market developments.
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for lead generation and market penetration.
Client Engagement:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their HVAC needs and project requirements.
Conduct thorough assessments of clients' existing HVAC systems, identifying pain points and opportunities for improvement.
Articulate technical information clearly to clients, translating complex HVAC concepts into actionable recommendations.
Solution Design:
Collaborate with HVAC engineering teams to design customized HVAC solutions that meet clients' comfort, energy efficiency, and cost-saving objectives.
Develop comprehensive proposals outlining the technical specifications, project scope, budget estimates, and expected outcomes.
Ensure proposed solutions align with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
Sales Process Management:
Lead the end-to-end sales process, from initial engagement to contract negotiation and closure.
Deliver compelling presentations, product demonstrations, and technical discussions to showcase the value of HVAC solutions.
Address client inquiries, concerns, and objections while providing accurate and relevant information.
Project Coordination:
Collaborate closely with project managers and sub-contractors to ensure seamless project handover from sales to execution.
Facilitate effective communication between clients, sub-contractors and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor project progress to ensure deliverables are met within defined timelines and budgets.
Market Insight:
Stay informed about the latest HVAC technologies, energy efficiency practices, and industry regulations.
Provide feedback to product development teams based on client interactions and market trends.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with a focus on HVAC systems.
Proven experience in technical sales within the HVAC industry.
In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and energy-efficient technologies.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability to client needs.
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
