Purpose of Role:
To lead learning through a supportive and trusting environment within the department. Innovation and creativity are developed at every level by encouraging collaboration, reflection, effective time management, and communication. This will allow positive progression of both the team and the curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
Follow the policies and practices which reflect the school's commitment to high achievement, amazing learning and effective feedback
Establish a clear understanding of the importance and role of Accounting & Business in contributing to pupils' development
Use data effectively to identify pupils who are underachieving and create effective plans of action
Work effectively as a Form Tutor as part of a designated Year Team
Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
Relevant bachelor's degree in Education or a bachelor's degree with a post-graduate qualification in teaching
Minimum three (3) years' full-time teaching IGCSE Accounting and Business Studies in an international secondary school
Computer literate with good interpersonal communication skills
Fluency in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia

A team player and flexible to meet the needs of the department
Responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people
