The Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer is responsible for the uptime of all Hyva data centers and/or Hyva subsidiaries. This role includes pro- and reactive monitoring and control activities on all Hyva Global IT systems.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for Microsoft 365 technical application management.
Responsible for technical management of Microsoft Azure related resources.
Performs monitoring and controls Hyva critical systems and Hyva domains.
Identifies problems, and participates in the resolution.
Interacts on issues with global data centers, network services, telephone systems, software systems and more to restore availability of services and/or to identify problems.
Identifies and proposes system modifications to reduce user problems on systems, databases and/or applications.
Participates in the review of problem situations, process improvements and identification of opportunities.
Acquires technical and product knowledge to resolve problems.
Installs, configures, maintains, and troubleshoots a wide range of server hard- and software at Hyva.
Performs server hard- and software upgrades to existing equipment when needed.
Responds to third line incidents and problem tickets on-site or remote.
Contacts IT vendors or accesses online technical support to obtain required support and/or updates.
Provides network support including installing network applications, granting access to users, creating user groups, managing shared resources.
Contacts hard- and software vendors to obtain specifications, pricing, warranty cases and other purchase related information needed to guide departments in their selection of hard- or software.
May assist in negotiating licenses and coordinates volume purchase arrangements for standard Hyva software packages.
