Inspector (Mechanical/Piping)

Scope of Works:
Read and familiarize with project AFC drawings, specifications, procedures, ITP, shop drawings, and applicable international codes and standards such as ASTM, ASME B31.1 & B31.3, and API 570, API 5L.
Develop QC Inspection package for the area/scope of works and get immediate supervisor approval.
Perform/witness quality inspection, testing, and surveillance (materials receiving, fabrication, installation & testing) as per the approved Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) as directed by the immediate supervisor.
Qualification/Skills:
Minimum Diploma or Vocational Certificate in relevant disciplines.
2-8 years of working experience in oil and gas.
Inspection and Testing techniques.
Piping design requirements.
COMPANY Technical Standards (PTS).
Codes and Specifications: ASTM, ASME II, ASME B31.1 & B31.3, API 5L, API 570.
Read and interpret P&ID, Isometric, and other construction drawings.
CSWIP Level 3.1/3.2 by The Welding Institute (TWI).
