Reporting to the Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for: Review and prepare insurance coverage programs, collating information for annual renewals.
Manage insurance claims documentation and provide necessary information for claims processing.
Analyze insurance claims data, ensuring adequacy of coverage and optimizing insurance costs.
Liaise with insurance brokers for additional coverage and refunds in case of store closure.
Resolve insurance requests and queries with relevant departments, preparing payments for insurance invoices.
Assist in reviewing/updating insurance processes, ensuring compliance with company governance.
Contribute to process improvement, digitalization, and automation efforts.
Prepare and manage insurance-related data and reports for management review.
Conduct insurance briefings/trainings for colleagues.
Handle ad-hoc tasks as required.
In order to succeed in the role, you should ideally have:  Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, or a related field.
Preferably 4 years of experience in insurance, with understanding of the retail industry.
Knowledge of property and casualty insurance, workers' compensation, and public liability.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
Ability to maintain confidentiality, adaptability/continuous learning, attention to detail, collaborating with others/facilitation, negotiation skills
