Job Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Intern Architectural Engineer with a background in civil engineering to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the niche field of bamboo architecture and construction. The successful candidate will work closely with our project managers and designers, contributing to the design and execution of cutting-edge bamboo structures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in designing and drafting architectural plans for bamboo-based structures.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams on project development.
• Research innovative bamboo construction techniques and materials.
• Support the design and engineering of sustainable structures for various project types (residential, commercial, and public).
• Participate in site visits, project planning, and team meetings.
• Help in the preparation of project documentation, reports, and presentations.
• Contribute to sustainable solutions and strategies for eco-friendly building practices.
• Gain exposure to bamboo plantations and understand their role in land restoration.
Qualifications:
• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Strong interest in sustainable architecture, bamboo construction, and eco-friendly building practices.
• Familiarity with architectural design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new techniques and materials in construction.
• A passion for sustainable development and environmentally aware building practices.
