THE TEAM  As part of the wider group Finance Team, the Internal Audit team is established and embedded across the group and supports the global Governance and Risk agenda for regions GFG operates in: SEA, Latam and ANZ.
We are looking for an Internal Audit Manager for the SEA region (ZALORA) who is looking for a new challenge and who is fascinated by the challenges and opportunities faced by fashion ecommerce businesses.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone craving to work in a global team with a passion for driving pragmatic changes across a fast-evolving business.  SCOPE OF ROLE Reporting to the Group Head of Internal Audit & Risk, the Internal Audit Manager assists in implementing an independent assurance framework to enhance risk management, internal controls, systems, and reporting.  Additionally the Internal Audit Manager ensures successful audit completion, identifies potential issues, and communicates them to management for timely resolution.  A key part of the Internal Audit Managers responsibilities involve the evaluation of internal controls, compliance, and risk management strategies and ensuring follow up on identified deficiencies, and by collaborating with regional teams, mitigating business and operational risks.
The Internal Audit Manager also plays a key role in validating the work of the Internal Controls department and helping improve and develop key controls for secure business operations.
HOW YOU'LL SUCCEED Conducting assigned audit engagement independently and with supervision, where appropriate.
Identifying and communicating issues raised, offering recommended solutions relevant to business and risk.
Ensuring audit conclusions are based on a complete understanding of the process, circumstances, and risk.
Able to quantify observations and demonstrate business value add.
Assisting in the development of audit programs and testing procedures relevant to the agreed upon audit objectives.
Identifies opportunities to deliver deeper and more efficient audits and business insight through data, AI and analytics.
Obtaining and reviewing evidence ensuring audit conclusions are well-documented.
Ensuring adherence at all times to all applicable department and professional standards including the defined IA methodology.
Communicating assigned tasks to the engagement team in a manner that is clear and concise ensures high quality, accurate, and efficient results.
Demonstrate ability to build stakeholder relationships and exemplify integrity at all times, acting as an ambassador for Internal Audit to strengthen the profile of the function across Global Fashion Group and bring our value proposition to life for our stakeholders.
WHAT IT TAKES Significant experience in Internal Audit focusing on business processes engineering and a 'Big Four' background with International business exposure.  A qualification such as CIA, CPA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent and significant post-qualification experience in Accounting, Finance; Administration; Data Science, Information Systems.
Experience with data-driven auditing, data analytics and visualisation tools, including the ability to query and extract data from a database using SQL or similar database languages.
Strong risk, internal controls, and system controls awareness.
Experience in delivering financial, operational, and IT audits, including planning (preparation of risk and controls matrix, test plan and list of requests), execution of walkthroughs and effectiveness tests.
Strong knowledge in COSO / ERM or similar framework and practical experience.
The ability to multi-task with little supervision, deal with competing priorities, and agility to work within a fast paced, ever changing business and risk landscape.
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.  The ability to tailor your approach to deliver clear, powerful, and succinct messages to stakeholders at all levels.
