The main purpose of the Process Methodologist / Business process Analyst Intern is to support Lean Agile Center of Excellence in identifying problems and needs for process improvements within Research & Development (R&D), enhancing efficiency by expanding the adoption of cutting-edge development practices across R&D domains and teams.
This role involves guiding R&D operations in collaboration with TechLeadership, promoting a culture of metrics-driven problem-solving, and working closely with the Lean Agile Center of Excellence to implement process improvements.
\n RESPONSIBILITIESIdentify and analyze problems and needs within R&D processes to enhance efficiency.Collaborate with TechLeadership to guide R&D operations, support in implementing improvements, and develop and document process guidelines and practices.Expand the adoption of cutting-edge development practices across R&D domains.Promote a culture of metrics-driven problem-solving within the R&D teams and create and maintain the knowledge base.Work closely with the Lean Agile Center of Excellence to support the integration of Agile methodologies and Kanban method.Assist in developing training materials and workshops to foster continuous improvement and innovation. REQUIREMENTSCurrently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Business Administration, Management, or a related field with a focus on process management, change management and Agile methodologies.Proficiency in process analysis and improvement methodologies such as Agile.Experience or coursework in business process or change management.Familiarity with project management tools and techniques such as Kanban.Analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns and trends in data.Ability to document processes, create process flow diagrams, and maintain documentation accurately.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.Willingness to learn and take initiative.Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. GOOD TO HAVEExperience in industries such as manufacturing, technology, or consulting, with exposure to process improvement initiatives.Proficiency in applying Agile methodologies, specifically within R&D or technology-driven environments.Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and best practices.Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and methodologies.Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards continuous improvement.
